Precious

Well it’s that time again yes it’s Friday and my turn to share some Mo Manning inspiration with you
For my card today I have used the adorable Lou for my image and paired it off with nitwit papers.

The image is coloured with polychromo pencils and then masked off and I used oxide inks for the background

The edges of the papers have been distressed, I decided to not to add any embellishments just let the image do the talking and I think the sentiment sums up ths gorgeous image!
So there you have it I do hope you like it and I will see you soon

Sailor boy

Good morning, I hope this post finds you all well. Me I’m still struggling with my depression if I’m being honest I’m in a very dark place at the moment and finding crafting or anything else in fact very hard to do, having said that I do have a card for you today. It’s my DT card for Mo Manning.

The papers I used are freebies from Lianascraps(link below) which I have distressed the edges.
I have used for my image one of the little sailor boys from the set over at Mo’s digital pencil, they are all so adorable but I think this little chappy is my favourite I just love to colour him. He is coloured with a mix of my usual Pablo and polychrome pencils. He was then die cut out using an oblong die set I got from the works.

I made the embellishments cutting the wheel and anchor twice through my cuttlebug then gluing together, the card was 400gsm but I wanted it really strong and sturdy, then I embossed it with copper and black embossing powder to give an old weathered look.

The sentiment was a freebie from a magazine which I die cut out using the same set I used for the little sailor boy.
Well, that’s it from me for now. Hope you like my card for today and I will see you soon.

Feed the birds

Good morning everyone I hope you’re all well,, it’s very windy here today as I type this and cold.
AnywayI have a card to share with you today it’s a very clean and simple one for me, but I think the image speaks for itself.

I used red and yellow card for my backing pieces then I wanted a brown but couldn’t find one so I made my own using distress oxide inks.
The image called feed the birds is just adorable and I decided to make it into a thank you card just because lol
I coloured the image with my polychromo pencils  and basically left it at that just cut to size and added to card.
Hope you like it and I will see you soon.

I coloured my image called (love cupcake link below) with a mix of polychrome and prisma pencils. Then I made a mask of her and inked with Oxide inks.
To embellish my card I found these adorable little cupcake embellishments in my shash so had to use them.

80th Birthday Mummu

Good Morning Mo Friends I hope you are all well. The card I have for you today is one I made last year(that sounds so wrong as it was only a couple of weeks ago). I was asked by a cousin if I would make a card for his Nan as it was her 80th birthday on boxing day.The lady in question is also my Auntie so no pressure lol.
I decided to use a Mummu image as she is the perfect resemblance to how a grandmother should be. I coloured the image with polychrome pencils then inked with oxide inks.
I added die cut bird cage and flowers which I embossed with frontage powder, the papers were freebies from pixel scrapper which I thought went perfect with the image.
To finish I added a sentiment and insert with verse.
Hope you like it and I will see you soon.

Falalalala

Hello my lovelies I really do hope you had a magical Christmas. I was lucky enough to get some crafty goodies in my Christmas stocking lol can’t wait to use them.

Anyway as it’s Friday again already it’s my turn to share a card with you so here it is. I have used one of Mo’s new Christmas images Falalalala (links at bottom)
I used some old papers I haven’t used in years for this card as I was tired of using the same ones and so glad I did, I added ribbon and twine around the centre of the card then added a snowflake.
The image has been coloured with my trusted polychromos  then I used distress inks to ink around the edges oh and I added puffy stuff on the snowflakes to give some dimension.
So there you have my card for this week hope you like it and I will see you soon so until then Happy New Year to you all

Roman Oh No

Well it’s that time again, yes Friday and my turn to share some inspiration with you. Mo has done some adorable Christmas images and one was very apt for us at the moment so that is the one I have gone with.
We thought twice about putting our tree up this year because of the kitten but we thought why not. So far tough wood he hasn’t been too bad.
The papers were freebies from a magazine a few weeks ago and I die cut the image out before colouring with my polychromos.
The snowflakes are from Sainsbury’s on offer 3 for 2 at the moment.
Hope you like it and I’ll see you soon.

Winter Fairy Halla

Hello my lovelies Oh it’s so nice to be back with a card. My mojo seems to have abandoned me for what seems like ever. Anyway I’m here today with a gorgeous Christmas card using the ubber cute Winter Fairy Halla I think she is one of my favourite fairy’s I love colouring her in and this time I used copics (shock horror yes I did) you can probably tell as I’m not too good with them yet.

The papers are freebies from this months Card making and Papercrafts Magazine. Now I don’t usually use the freebie papers in magazines but these looked so pretty but they are so thin and flimsy which is why I don’t usually use them but they have done the job.
I made the bow from some Christmas ribbon and added some snowflake sequins to finish off.
Hope you like it and I will see you soon.
