Christmas Eve Countdown

Shake it off
Hello again I am back sharing the card I made for my wonderful Hubby Phil.
For this card I have used papers from Polkadoodles (again they’re the best) and Ihave heavily distressed them, curling back some of the edges.

The image is called Christmas Eve countdown and is from Make it crafty  I HAVE COLOURED HIM WITH A MIX OF Polychromo and Prisma pencils. TBH I was dreading colouring this in as there is a lot of background and I haven’t done much background colouring practice with pencils plus the chimney but I think I did ok.

To embellish the card I made a snowflake out of craft pegs I saw # Marta Łapkowska do a tutorial of one using full size ones so I scaled it down and used some crafty ones and am pretty pleased with it. I then added some large glittered/gold berry pins to the greeting to complete the look

For the insert I made this in my usual style and added the black and white image to tie it together

For our Daughter at Christmas

Well it’s Christmas eve and I still have some cards to share with you EEEEeeekkkkkk best get cracking

So straight into it this is one I have made for Amy I have used papers from Polkadoodles (well they are the best) I have heavily distressed the edges it’s been my ‘thing’ this year lol

The image is called Neve from Make it crafty and I have coloured her with a mix of prisma luminance and polychromo pencils

To embellish the card I took some dark silver/grey ribbon and threaded through a large teal bell they’re actually tree or gift decorations but why waste them on those things lol. Then I added 3 glittered/gold large berry top pins.

The inside is done in my usual fashion but I decided as the verse was quite long (and very meaningful) I would leave the image out.
So there you have it hope you like it and I will see you later with another card oh and a very Merry Christmas to you all

Snowelf hehe

Well good evening my crafty friends it looks like the countdown is finally here, I have just finished my last couple of Christmas card (phew!!!!!) I have been later than this a couple of years ago I was still making them Christmas eve!!!!
So I will get straight on with the card I have for you today. This is one I made for Phil I love these mischievous chappies and decided to use the pair called snowelf (link below)
The papers I used are from Pixel scrapper and I have completely gone OTT with the diluted paint Starlight paint and distress inks, but heyho he’s my hubby and it’s Christmas!!
Now as I said the image is from Make it crafty and I guess you can imagine which of the little devils I am and which one Phil is oh yeah revenge is sweet hahaha.
I have coloured them in with a mix of polychrome, Pablo, Luminace pencils then masked them off and created the background with distress inks.
To embellish the card I die cit some snowflakes that I embossed with frontage then made a large fussy bow from hessian fibres(told you I love using these now)I coloured them using faded jeans DI made 3 bows in different sizes then glued together adding a snowflake on the front.
I also added a tag to the top which can be pulled out just because I felt like it this was from Polkadoodles(link below)

To finish the card I made the insert in my usual style using papers from the front and bringing the image through this time using it in either corner then added a very sentimental and fitting verse.

So there you have my card for today hope you like it and I will see you very soon with some more Xmas makes

Here is a list of all the links you will need to find what I used

Wishing you a cool Yule

Hello crafty peeps I hope you’re all fine and dandy and had a great weekend all be it a chilly one.
Well while I have Mrs Mojo under lock and key I am making her earn her keep and make up for the lost crafty time she caused me(tut tut tut) and got another Christmas card done so that’s another one off my list.
I love Make it Crafty Christmas images (not just the Christmas image but especially the cheeky Santa’s and the wicked elves.

For this card I have gone with an A5 card blank and used  gorgeous red paper with snowflakes on but I have no idea where I got it from (sorry) I distressed the edges(of course) then added fired brick distress ink.

I added a length of white ribbon with stars on across the middle just to add a little something.
The image is called Aussie Santa and I have coloured him with a mix of Pablo pencils(skin mainly) prisma Polychromo and luminance pencils. Then making a mask of the image I used various blues and brownish Distress inks to create my background.

The sentiment I made while printing off the image just using a couple of different fonts then cut the whole thing out and added fired brick to the edges. Finally to finish off the outside I added a couple of die cut stars magazine freebies (yayyy love freebies) and some hessian threads tied in a scruffy bow.

I used the same paper for the insert bringing the image through to tie it all together then added another quick sentiment to finish off and Tah-Dah all done.

Hope you like it and hopefully I’ll see you again real soon with some more makes
