Big Guy Jogging

Hello mo fans, yes I know it's Friday 13th but hey I'm back with another Mo make for you.
Today's make is one I have done for my Hubby as it's his birthday tomorrow. He keeps saying he wants to start running but, because he has bad knees it's kind of putting him off, so I thought this might motivate him lol
I have used Big Guy Jogging for my image coloured with my Polychromo pencils. I kept the card pretty CAS just adding a couple of buttons as embellies.

Anyway, hope you like it and I will see you soon with some more makes. Have a great weekend

Rare Earth Pin Ups

Hello my lovelies Oh it’s so nice to be back with a card. I just don’t seem to be able to get my pics edited as quickly as I want.

Anyhoooo some of you may know I have been asked join the Crafting UK DT I was so excited when I got asked. The 2nd lot of cards I had to make for C&c I was that excited I forgot to take pics of still fear not I made another set lol but those are for another day and the ones I have for you today are from Rare Earth and called Pin Ups.

I have to tell you they are a dream to colour in and mask. I had such a fun tome using them and teamed them up with oxide inks for the background.

The images have been coloured with a mix of polychrome and Prisma pencils.(the top one reminds me of Madonna for some reason lol)
So there you have them

Morgan footie card

Good morning Mo fans yes it’s that time again, time for me to share my Friday inspiration with you (yes I know it’s Saturday) but hey better late than never.
My depression is still bad and little Roman is taking up a lot of our time at the mo. We’re trying to get Scruff used to being with him. Scruff seems to be being very stubborn and doesn’t want to know. He’s avoiding him at all cost. We are running out of ideas as to how to get them to live together. I don’t expect them to get one (although it would be amazing if they did). But Scruff seems scared at times and that hurts to see. I will be happy for Scruff just to tolerate Roman.

Anyhoooooooo  here’s my Mo card for you I made this for  Amy to send to her dad as it’s his birthday in a couple of weeks. The image is called Morgan and you can get a freebie footie kit to go with him (how cool is that lolAll links at bottom of post
The papers I used are from Pixel Scrapper, which I cropped  to size in MCS along with the image then printed out with sentiment.

I coloured Morgan in using my Polychromo pencils, then inked the sides with faded jeans oxide inks.

To embellish the card I had some fancy drawing pins I got from Staples eons ago which have decorative heads on. So I popped the pins of and keeping the heads I added some strong glue and put them in place.
So there you have it, I do hope you like it and I will see you all soon.

Scrappy Birthday

Hello Everyone I am so sorry I have been AWOL for so long. Things haven’t been good if I’m honest. My depression isn’t lifting my anxiety is through the roof and my ear pain is really bad. So with all that it has dampened my mojo a tad.
On the happy note, we’ve had a baby!!! Oh he’s so cute he’s 9 weeks old and came to live with us on Monday and melted our hearts (well all except Scruff’s who is sulking) So I’d like to introduce to to Roman our little Ginger kitty.
As you can see he's already a crafter

Things haven’t all been doom and gloom though I have asked to joing a wondwerful Design Team and had a couple of my cards on Create and Craft yesterday (but I forgot to take pics of them so if you saw the Rare Earth shows yesterday with our lovely Hels Sherriden then my cards were on there (yayyyyy super excited)

Anyway enough waffle about what’s going on here I have a card to share with you and it’s my DT inspiration for Mo Manning. I had to make a card for my Father in Law as it’s his birthday on the 7th June. I wanted a quirky card so I picked Scrappy all links will be at bottom of post)
another $2 image from her store. This time I paired him with some papers from Pixel scrapper and coloured him with my copics markers. I added a couple pf clip art doggy bones as embellishments to finish.

For the inside I used one of the papers from the front and the uncoloured version of Scrappy then made uo the verse inside, well I thought it was funny lol .
So there you have it and I hope you like it.
I do have loads more makes to share like some of the Mel Heaton signature collection but I just haven’t had chance to edit any of the pics yet but fear not they will be done J
So there you have it I hope you like it and I will see you very soon

Happy Birthday Granddaughter

Hello my lovelies I hope this post finds you all well.
For today’s Friday inspiration over at Mo Mannings I am bringing the lovely Lydia to you again (link below)

I have used so lovely daisy paper but unfortunately can’t remember who they are from (Sorry)
The card is what I made for Amy’s birthday back in April I made for her Grandparents to send to her but didn’t get chance to share with you , but it’s very similar to one I made for cousin who’s birthday was around the same time
I added the sentiment to the bottom of the image when I printed it out and I coloured her with my trusty polychromo pencils, then inked the edges
To embellish the card I made some paper daisies to go along side the image. They were so easy to make using a brittania die and some flower soft
I made the insert in my usual way bringing one of the papers through and also the image to tie it all together then adding the verse.

While I’m here I would like to take this opportunity to introduce our latest family member…

Everyone please meet Roman he is 8 weeks old and will be joining us in 10 days we can’t wait.
So there you have it I hope you like it and I will see you very soon

Stand out from the crowd

Hi everyone I'm sharing my mixed media painting which is Acrylic base and oil pastel flowers on a mount board (backboard of photos)
To start I applied a good coat of gesso, then added my acrylics adding some starlight Acrylics as well to add a shimmer effect )(shame it can't be seen in pic)
Drying in between each layer so not to muddy it up, I applied it with either a brush or brayer using water to get it moving. I then added some stencil shapes to add texture. I then decided to add a few brusho's here and there and spritz to activate.
After I was completely happy with the background I added some stamps texture using a text stamp and archival ink.
Then it was down to the images these I gently drew in place with a light pencil and coloured in with more gesso, then went over with an oil pastel to give me the outline in the darkest of my chosen colours (the black outline was the last thing added)
I added the lightest colour next to the middle and blended now it does take a lot of blending to get started but once it's warmed up it's fine. I kept adding colour to add dimension and once happy I outlined with a watercolour pencil and drew the stem.
I wasn't really happy with the outline so I used a piece of charcoal and was pleased with that look so left it there.
All that was needed now was to frame the actual art and I did this with a black oil pastel then add my sentiment.
So there you have it hope you like it.
