Joy filled day

Hello again my dearies I do hope you are all well, we have had some glorious easter weather it was so nice to actually have a BH without any rain lol
Anyway it’s that time again for a Mo Manning card from me for my Friday inspiration I do hope you like it

Papers are freebies from pixel Scrapper which I have distressed the edges of then I added some satin ribbon before attaching to my card base which is 8x8”. I also printed the sentiment onto the papers rather than having it separate.

For the image I coloured her with my polychromo pencils then made a mask and inked around her with peeled paint oxide ink.

The flowers are made from the same papers just cut out with a simple die and shaped and glued together adding enamel paint and glitter to the centres

So there you have it I do hope you like it and I will see you soon

it's the little things

Hello everyone I have some great news Tomorrow Mo Manning is starting her challenge blog up again  http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/   it’s going to run monthly so will start every first Saturday of the month and finish on the last Saturday of the month Yes you have to use a Mo image to enter but they are super cute so you want to colour them in anyway.

But as its Friday it’s my turn to share my Mo make today with you hope you like it.

So it’s a 7x7” card (yes a little smaller lol) the papers are freebies from Pixel scrapper which I have distressed the edges then matted onto white card. I then added some polkadot ribbon before adding the image.

The image is called phone call C and she is just adorable and a joy to colour, to finish her off I created a mask for her the blended some oxide ink around the outside of the image.

To finish the card I made some daisies, adding glitter to the centres
Well that’s it from me today but I’ll see you again tomorrow with my challenge card

70 years as Husband & Wife

Hello my lovelies I do hope you're all well and enjoying the weather although it's a tad colder here today :-( but I guess it has to come to an end at some point but I do LOVE the sunny hot days
Well it's that time again for me to share my Friday inspiration with you. And what an inspiration I have for you this week. It's not that I have made a blinder of a card or coloured the image Amazingly it's the reason behind the card(  all links will be at bottom of post)
Next month is grandparents in law's 70th (   yes I said 70th, 70 years marriage ) So My MiL (  it's her parents ) asked if I'd make a card for them from her.
So this is what I came up with hope you like it

For my card I have used papers from Polkadoodles which I distressed and added to the card then made a paper doily from a die I have which I cut in half and added to the top and bottom corner.

The image is a merge of Aunt Helen ( she still reminds of the old woman in the home alone film lol)
I coloured them both with my polychromos and kept the card pretty CAS I printed the sentiment along with images.
I distress the edges of the image and then masked off the image and coloured the background with distress inks.

To embellish the card I wanted to again keep it simple but wanted some hearts so I die cut a few sizes and then embossed them. I didn't have any platinum embossing powder so I made my own with a mix of silver, holographic and a pale gold. I think it turned out quite cool.

I finished off with the insert in my usual style using the same paper on the front then adding a matt and the verse.
And there you have it.

Happy Birthday Granddaughter

Hello my lovelies I hope this post finds you all well.
For today’s Friday inspiration over at Mo Mannings I am bringing the lovely Lydia to you again (link below)

I have used so lovely daisy paper but unfortunately can’t remember who they are from (Sorry)
The card is what I made for Amy’s birthday back in April I made for her Grandparents to send to her but didn’t get chance to share with you , but it’s very similar to one I made for cousin who’s birthday was around the same time
I added the sentiment to the bottom of the image when I printed it out and I coloured her with my trusty polychromo pencils, then inked the edges
To embellish the card I made some paper daisies to go along side the image. They were so easy to make using a brittania die and some flower soft
I made the insert in my usual way bringing one of the papers through and also the image to tie it all together then adding the verse.

While I’m here I would like to take this opportunity to introduce our latest family member…

Everyone please meet Roman he is 8 weeks old and will be joining us in 10 days we can’t wait.
So there you have it I hope you like it and I will see you very soon

Baby fairy Flidais

Hello again Mo fans, I hope you are all fine and dandy, well can you believe the weather we’ve had this last week here in the UK. Who would have thought we were in spring lol

Anyway my card for you today is one I have made for an upcoming Christening.
I have used papers from Pixel scrapper(all links will be at bottom of post) Which I have distressed and inked the edges.

The image is from the baby fairy collection and is called Flidais I coloured her with my trusty polychromo pencils. Then die curt her out using a circle stitch die from my stash.

I printed the sentiment off with the papers and inked with squeezed lemonade. Then I went on to make the embellishment. I did this by taking a length of ribbon and sewing a running stitch along one end, then pulling it all together to make a flower adding stamens to the centre. I then made a bow out of thread which had been stiffened to which I added a cross.

To finish off the front I added flat backed pearls then moved on to the insert.
I found a fitting verse in my collection so added that to papers I’d used on the front, then  brought the image through to tie it together adding the baby’s name.
So there you have it I hope you like it and I will see you very soon

White with a Hint

Anyway as always for you it’s anything goes for us we have a theme this week
For our challenge it was white with a hint don’t know if my brain took the hint about the HINT as there seems to be more colour than I realised eeeekkkk that’s what happens when you get carried away

My card is 8x8 and I have use papers and image from the Winnie White Christmas. The colouring is done a little differently for me trying to leave white space so just colouring the shadows

To decorate I die cut the word Christmas out a few time in Kraft then in white and glued together but off set ot add shadow details then made the poinsettia and coloured with brushos (I love these my best buy at Doncaster )

Anyway there you have it hope you like it and I  will see you soon with another make
Have a fab weekend and if you’re going to the NEC HAVE FUN!!!!!!

Special Birthday wishes for a special friend

Hello my crafty friends I hope you’re all well.fty friends I hope you’re all well.
I have to tell you I have been sitting on my hands with this cards so not to show you too soon I have been itching to share it with you but couldn’t as the recipient’s birthday is today!!!!
So Happy Birthday to a very special friend Sandra  65 today (she’ll kill me I know hahah) we have been friends now for nearly 10 years we met online through our blogs then we started to email each other and our friendship progressed from there. We call each other regularly and I go up to see her when our hubby’s footie teams are playing against each other.
So of course I couldn’t share the card on here until I knew she had opened it and ad today is her birthday tah dahh I can now show you

So for this card I have tried to make it more mixed media style and I also made a matching canvas (getting good ain’t I lol)
All the papers and images used are from Polkadoodles Belle papillon and so are the butterflies and flowers (even the one I made were made using the pares from the set.

I added lots of other bits from my stash (key, frames corners etc) and coloured with distress sprays and inks and also starlight acrylics .

The insert was made was made using the papers and one of the images then I added a verse to finish it off.

The canvas was made the same way as card using gesso to cover then texture paste and inks .
Hope you like it and I will see you soon

Anything but a card

Hello  I’m back today with DT inspiration for you for the new challenge over at polkadoodles the challenges for you guys are always anything goes but for us we are give a theme to go by and this fortnight we have been asked to make something Autumn or winter but NOT  a card  (Yikes lol)

So what do I create? Well I decided to create a Christmas ornament. It was very simple to make just die cut about 12-16 circles from some Christmas papers I used paper from the Festive Christmas collection then scored down the centre and folded in half I took one of the pre coloured images from Winnies White Christmas and printed her off twice with the papers one flipped over so it was opposite to the first so I could add it back to back. I then got some cord and added this to the back of the image before gluing together then I added the circles,
To finish off I added a large red Christmas bell to the bottom and there you are.
Hope you like it

Pocket full of love

Hello my sweets I hope you’re all well and keeping warm. Wasn’t that such a weird sky we had the other day with that pink orange sun.
So today I have a card tp share that I posted a quick pic of last night. It’s using the, oh soooooooo adorable January this time using pocket of love and have teamed her up with papers from the Ula collection.

I distressed the edges of the papers and then added to the card , I also printed out a couple of extra sheets so I could make some rolled roses (I did have a die that did that for me but didn’t find it until after I had finished Typical)

I made the flowers (also using papers from the Ula collection) then added some flat backed pearls to the centres .
The Image I have coloured with a mix of Polychromo ,Prisma, and some Lyra.ythe mounted onto card with 3D tape then added the roses to finish the card

Hope you like it and I will see you very soon with another make.
