Mesmerising Meribelle

Oh my another week has gone already I can’t believe it. I hope you’re all fine and Dandy and had a great weekend. I hope this scheduled post works as I’m at the hospital today getting my long overdue injections so will out of action for the rest of the day but fingers crossed in a few days the pain I have got will be reduced.
Well as it’s Tuesday it must mean another challenge over at Digi Choosday I forgot to mention last week (sssshhhh don’t tell the boss lady) that we have shook things up a tad and made things even more easier and more fun for you to enter out challenges as we have now decided to make them anything goes (ATG) with the option of the theme (which us DT girls have to follow) so no excuses for you not to enter!!!!!

The theme this week is to use 2 or more papers well you know me I love using loads of papers on my cards so easy peasy. I loved making this card I made my usual 8x8” card blank and printed off the papers from the Winnie Starfish and Sandcastle collection, The sketch I used is a pretty simple one and only needed 3 papers at a push you can find the sketch over at Jules blog (love her sketches)
I cut the papers out and inked with various DI and made a couple of strips of washi tape from one of the pieces to add to the image once put on my card. I also printed off the sentiment and some fish and seahorses from the creatures folder to add as little extras with the papers.

The super cute image is from the Meribelle Mermaid digi collection which I printed off and coloured with a mix of Polychrom, Luminance and Pablo pencils. I then added liquid pearls to her hair (mainly because none of my white gel pens wanted to work for me Gggrrrrrrrrr).
I then cut out and masked the image then using Distress inks created the background. I then added the 2 strips of made washi tape to the image. Then added the image and sentiment to the card . I then added the fishy friends to keep her company.
Finally to complete my card I added the insert which was made using the paper from the from and bringing the image through but keeping it uncoloured, Then adding a cute little greeting to tie it all together.
Hope you like it please pop over to the Digi Choosday blog and check out my ubber talented teamies creations and leave some love and also enter the challenge REMEMBER it’s now ANYTHING GOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ooohhh and also don’t forget to grab the discount code for discount off individual digis remember it only lasts until midnight tonight so get a wiggle on

I will leave you with another look at the super cute image and I will see you all very soon
Links you will need!!

Happy Crafting

Hi Jacki

We have had the London Kids staying with us this week so my blog has been a little neglected :-(

So pleased you are still finding my sketches useful. Love how you have used this one. Such beautiful colours and a really pretty image.

I hope you got on OK at the hospital and your injections are working their magic.

Enjoy your weekend.

Love Jules xx

Jacki this is just so beautiful and pretty at the same time. Adore all the sea creatures. This will also be perfect for one entry as an anything goes creation for our challenge below.
