Twisted Mermaid easel card

Happy Choosday peeps I hope you are all fine and dandy and have had a great weekend the weather here was delightful although we had a few showers and it was much cooler yesterday.
I am going to try to change things on my blog as I am feeling things are getting repetitive with me telling you how I made the card and so on so want to try and do things differently so please bear with me till I find a way I am happy with (o:
It’s been a week since I had my injections and things are just starting to settle back down again thankfully. While I was having them done I asked them to send for me to review my oral painkillers as I have been on these for a good few years now and I’m hoping some new treatment may have come out since I was last reviewed (you never know)

Anyway enough about little Ole me, as it’s Tuesday that means it’s time for another challenge over at Digichoosday  as I said last week we have changed things up a little to make it easier for you guys to enter and have made all our challenges Anything Goes for you. As for the DT well we still have to use the original theme but that's just to keep us on our toes and make things more interesting for you hahaha.
This week the DT theme is shaped cards eeeeeekkkkkkkkkk Can’t remember the last time I made a shaped card,  brain over drive me thinks hahaha

I finally decided to make a twisted easel card as it has been an absolute age and a half since I last made one I had to try and remember how to make one it had been so long.
I used papers and creatures from the Winnie starfish and Sandcastle collection and image from the Meribelle digicollection.

To finish my card I added sandpaper under the image which was coloured with a mix of polychrome, Pablo and luminance pencils. This was one of those light bulb moments that happen every now and then that I need to lie down afterwards as my head hurts so much from (must be from only having a couple of brain cells they can’t cope with the exercise lol) Then added a die cut anchor that I embossed with gold and bronze embossing powder to tally with the sentiment I made.

So there you have my DT card for today hope you like it. Remember it’s ANYTHING GOES for you guys so no excuses not to join in the fun with us
Don’t forget to head over to the Digi Choosday blog to get your discount code for today ONLY  (also see blog for details on how to use voucher)
