Hi Guys hope you’re all fins & dandy well we’re into March already I have a feeling this year is going to run as fast as last years the way things are going.
Anyway a quick post form me today, I have a card for you, it’s a birthday card I made for a family member (I just hope she got it) who’s birthday is today so of course I didn’t want to share before hand.
The card is an 8x8” card and the papers are from pixel
scrapper which I have distressed and inked with worn lipstick and abandoned
coral DI
I printed off coordinating plain papers too then dies cut
some flower shapes from the Britania flower set small medium and large then inked
the edges and started to play making the flowers they’re really easy to do I
made them the same way as I did for the last mother’s day card I made adding
micro beads to the more open flowers. I added some berries and large coloured
stamens just add a little interest but kept the rest pretty plain and I think
the flowers are just enough for the card
The sentiment I printed out when designing the card it’s
faux matted.
The image is called Erin from MoManning and has been coloured in using my polychrome pencils and for the
little polka dots I used liquid pearls to give a little dimension.
Then I made the insert in my usual way using some of the
papers from the front and bringing the image through
And there you have it I hope you like it and I’ll see you
