Baby fairy Flidais

Hello again Mo fans, I hope you are all fine and dandy, well can you believe the weather we’ve had this last week here in the UK. Who would have thought we were in spring lol

Anyway my card for you today is one I have made for an upcoming Christening.
I have used papers from Pixel scrapper(all links will be at bottom of post) Which I have distressed and inked the edges.

The image is from the baby fairy collection and is called Flidais I coloured her with my trusty polychromo pencils. Then die curt her out using a circle stitch die from my stash.

I printed the sentiment off with the papers and inked with squeezed lemonade. Then I went on to make the embellishment. I did this by taking a length of ribbon and sewing a running stitch along one end, then pulling it all together to make a flower adding stamens to the centre. I then made a bow out of thread which had been stiffened to which I added a cross.

To finish off the front I added flat backed pearls then moved on to the insert.
I found a fitting verse in my collection so added that to papers I’d used on the front, then  brought the image through to tie it together adding the baby’s name.
So there you have it I hope you like it and I will see you very soon

Beautiful card Jacki - love the colours and sweet image. The weathers improved a fair bit today - think there's more snow on the way at the weekend though (so I've heard!) - Michelle x

Hi Jacki

I hope you are well.

Sorry for being a stranger .. .. life is a bit all over the place at the moment.

Loving your cute card. Such a beautiful colour combo and your image is coloured brilliantly. So many gorgeous embellishments too.

Love how you have displayed your photographs .. .. very clever!

Many thanks for your comments regarding my Mum. Things are taking a turn for the better at last .. .. I think it is just a case of us building up her strength again now.

Hope you had a lovely Easter.

Love Jules xx

Oh, Jacki! It's such a gorgeous card! I LOVE the colour combination! You know I always love what you do with those images. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for our challenge at All Dressed Up because you have to use an All Dressed Up image. I'm very happy to have seen it though! :o)
