Mornings Aren't Pretty

Eeeeeekkk Hello my lovelies I have been dying to tell you my secret for ages and now I can ……………………………….. I have kept this quiet for so long it has killed me (honestly) a few weeks before Christmas (yes that’s how long it has been) 

I was asked to join the DT of Colour Crazy Craft Challenge (ALL LINKS BELOW) I was both shocked and honoured that they thought I my colouring skills were good enough to be on their team so of course I squealed yes yes yes (I also may a wet myself a little :o/)

So this is my first make as DT member this month we are sponsored by the one and only Dr Digi.

I made this card a few days before Christmas as it was a family friends birthday a couple of days after and she has a very sharp sense of humour I thought this would make her chuckle (well I hoped)

I kept the card pretty simple it’s A5 in size then I used a polkadot paper

The image is called Wanda I added the sentiment then before printing off then coloured using a mix of Polychromo, Luminance, Pablo and Derwent pencils.

To embellish the card I kept to the simple lines added my “latest fav” the shabby hessian thread bow and a large button. 

To complete the card I made the insert again using the same paper as on the front and bringing the uncoloured image through to tie it together I finished off with a continuation of the front “mornings aren’t pretty” and then a short greeting
