Did someone mention Cake

Hello my lovelies well I hope you remember last week I said I was so excited and couldn’t wait until Thursday well guess what IT’S THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are having a 4 day launch party over on our FB page so please please pop over to see all the amazing (and I mean AMAZING) makes from my co teamies.

So for this card I have made my usual 8x8” card and have used papers and a pre coloured image from the download coleection

I distressed the papers and inked with DI then splattered and spluttered with diluted white paint and starlight paint

I took some of the stamp and postcard images from the embellishment section and aged and distressed these as well then embossed with clear powder about 3-4 layers then popped in the freezer for a few mins when taken out they crack and split then I added more brown DI to make it look more aged.

I added the image which as I said is pre coloured  which is great for quick cards. I distress and inked the edges of the image the splattered more diluted paint and starlight paint.

I made the sentiment myself it just seemed really apt for the image and I though it would make a fun card.

To finish I made a shabby bow using pink hessian threads and added a pink button which I daubed paint on as well.

To finish off I made the insert in my usual way using one of the papers from the front and adding the image to tie it all together.
