Baby card Yayyyyy

Hello again my lovelies hope you are all having a great weekend are you counting down the days or sleeps lol can’t believe it’s 2 weeks then it’s all over again for another year.
Well I told you I been making some happy cards over the last few days other than Christmas ones and this one is as far from Christmas as you can get!!! A baby card (I have actually made 2 so there is still one to come)
This was made for the sister of the young lady that turned 18 on Friday, She and her Hubby became proud parents again on Wednesday to little Ella who is adorable I sneaked a little munch at the party (well I can’t resist a little un)

So my card is of course 8x8” the papers are from Pixel Scrapper and I have distressed and inked the edges with spun sugar and picked raspberry DI.
The image is soooooo sweet and is called Morgan from Mos Digital Pencil I have coloured it with a mix of Pablo, Polychromo,  Prisma and  Luminance pencils then distressed the edges and inked with spun sugar.

To embellish the card I added some pink organza ribbon across the centre of the papers then made a large fussy bow with the same ribbon,  I added a messy bow made with pink hessian fibres and then made a smaller fussy bow with a pale pink satin ribbon and attached this to the larger one.

Now I did leave this card til the last minute as I thought I had another week to get it done (got MY dates mixed up lol) but decided it needed something else as well so as it was needed quickly I decided to make ribbon flowers (yep hand sewn Ribbon flowers) I made about 6 but decided only to use 1 I made them by making a rosette of ribbon then added stamens to the centre and sewing in place.

As I said I decided to only use one after making them but they will come in lol I added this flower to the centre of the satin bow.

To finish the card I made my insert in my usual way taking one of the papers I used on the front and matting with a white piece then bringing the image through and adding a sweet baby verse.
So there you have my card for today hope you like it and I will see you again very soon
