Hello my lovelies I hope you are having a great weekend and keeping warm, it’s really cold here today.
So as you will know from my previous posts my mojo has been very unfriendly of late always nil and void so to speak well I coaxed her in to coming out to play the other day as I desperately needed to get some DT work done and while she was here I got the biggest chest and largest chains and have now kidnapped her back so she can never leave again!!!! Hahaha that’ll teach her to leave me high and dry
Anyway seeing as I was holding her captive I thought I would put her into some good use and get a Christmas card made.
The card is 8x8 quite clean and simple but the image I have done a little differently than normal. The gorgeous papers are from Polkadoodles festive Christmas collection and I distressed the edges and inked with DI
The image is by Mo Manning and called Sharing a song I wanted the background to be different to my usual cards so I decided to print the image on top of one of the papers, it’s still been printed on watercolour paper so I can colour the image just as I would normally only it has the digital paper background rather than me having to ink it
I coloured her in with my polychromo and luminance pencils then I added some matt white glitter to the ground beneath her.
Then to finish off I added a die cut Christmas stocking that I embossed with red glitter embossing powder and the middle bit in Tinsel snowflake embossing powder.
Hope you like it and I will see you very soon I hope with more creations
