Burnely Birthday

Hello my dears I hope I find you all fine and dandy this first day of summer, let’s hope the weeks ahead are dryer than week just gone what a wash out!!!!!
So my post today is of a happier note than the last my card for today is a birthday I made for my very dear friends hubby who has turned 70 today and is as mad as Phil about footie I knew what I wanted to make.

I decided to make the card in his favourite team Burnley colours I used the image from a CD rom that came with card making magazine a month or so ago all I did was change the colours to suit

The papers are freebies and have been distressed and inked.
I then did the same with the image
The sentiment was generated on my PC to make it personalised and I printed and punched out 3 footballs and the Burnley crest which I coated in glossy accent

Unfortunately I have been a little eager and deleted the pics of the inside of the card but not to worry it was done in my usual style of using the papers from the front the adding the image and a sentiment/ greeting.

I love the distress papers it really gives the card a rough masculine look! Love the soccer balls you added as embellishments too. Really a great card! Thanks for joining Hiding In My Craft Room this week.
