Hello peeps hope you’re all fine and dandy and keeping cosy and warm, I hate this weather I really was born in the wrong climate and continent (Bbbbbrrrrrrrrr)
Any way I have finally got my finger out my……. Well got my act together and started my Christmas card yayyyyyyyy finally. See now do you believe me when I say my Christmas spitit never comes along until the last minute, I really wish I was one of these people that could make them all year round but I can’t )o:
So onto my card this is for Amy my daughter I know she is
grown up but it reminds me of when she was younger.
It’s 8x8” of course and I have gone again for the clean and
simple look (I
have to admit I am really loving doing these) yes I have to add a little
bling but with what I used to add this is bare minimal lol
The paper I think is from pixel scrapper but I’m not 100%
sure so please don’t hold to it I inked the edges with milled lavender DI after
distressing (well
I had too!!!!)
Now the adorable image is called waiting for snow by yes of
cause Mo Manning and I have coloured her in using my polychrome pencils and I
loved every minute of it just like the last time I coloured it (but that one didn’t get sent to
anyone ggrrrrrrr long
story) The reason why I chose purple well simple really it’s Amy’s
favourite colour so why not???? When I had finished colouring I added glossy
accent to the snow globe then added a little glitter for that just shaken look.
I again distressed the edges of the image and inked this time
with seedless preserve DI then mounted onto the card 3d tape I then die cit snowflakes form memory box and
inked with Milled lavender DI and added frantage for a bit of sparkle and then a gem in the
centre.
For the insert I used the same paper as on the front and
brought the image through flipping it for each page and fading it out. Then I
went through my file of Christmas verses and decided on this one.
And so there you have it I hope you like it and I will leave
you with another look at the super cute image and a list of challenges I would
like to enter it into
