Good afternoon my fellow crafty friends. I hope you're all well and those that aren't I send big (((((hugs))))). It looks like we've see the last of the summer as the weather looks as though it has turned for good now :o(((((((((((((((((( not a happy bunny here as you can imagine oh well.
Any hoooooo enough about that I have another card for you today and I am really pleased with the outcome and I had loads of fun making it.
I have to warn you though there are a lot of pics and a a huge amount of PINK
All papers are freebies as usual and they been distressed and inled with spun sugar worn lipstick picked raspberry DI the piece behind image is card that I put through my cuttle bug using baby's breathe embossing folder then going over the whole piece with versa mark ink and the holographic embossing powder, boy did it sparkle here when doing this heehehe I looked liked a throw back fro a 70's video I had so much glittler over my face neck (even ended in my bra no idea how but then it's me we're on about haha)
I made all the flowers myself using ether watercolour paper or coffee fliter papers and colouring with DI (same as I used for distressing)and I also used some papermania flower heads that put together to make the large carnation like flowers then added some beery sprays which I got from USA
the butterflies and tags have also been inked and embossed with holographic powder too and I added small pearls the butterfly bodies (they actually started out as part of candle decoration holders)
Ribbon and gems are from my stash and I made a large double fussy bow (love making these at the mo)
this gorgeous image is called Cammy in the wind and is by Chelsea Le for this image I coloured her using my trusty promarkers (this time making sure not to cock her shoes up)
colours used are
Then I had a dilema I didn't know whether to die cut her out or fussy cut so that was why I made the embossed backing and went with fussy cutting which was a good idea as it gave me a chance to shape her and give her a 3D look
On this one you can seethe effect of the holographic embossing powder on the butterflies
to finish of the card I made a matching insert bringing the image through to this to join it all together
and there you have it oh forgot to mention the card is another big one 8 x 8"
A side on look of the card
I will leave you with an arty pic of image and a list of challenges I would like to enter it into
