Ula in blue...

Hello guys how are we this Friday? I had my birthday treat from Amy on Tuesday she booked us a spa day very relaxing, I am soooo on holiday count down now 4 weeks yayyyyyy can’t wait.

So I have had a busy week trying to get up to date with cards I need to make for upcoming birthdays and so on and my DT makes I need to get done for while I’m away. Better get my finger out lol.

 My card for today is my DT card for this weeks new challenge over at Polkadoodles. As always for you guys the theme is always Anything Goes so no excuse not come on over and join us (go on you know you want to  lol)

For the DT girls we were set the challenge of Polkadots eeeeekkkkkkk I love polkadots on cards you can’t beat them. So for my card I hunted through all my Polkadoodle papers looking for polkadot ones and found more than enough for even me lol I decided on a blue theme for this card (no particular reason just fancied a change from pink I think ) so I changed the colour of the papers in my graphics programme.

I prnted off the image (Ula Inner beauty) and have coloured her with a mix of Polychromo and Prisma pencils, Then I masked the image off and with stencil brushes and distress inks created the background. When I had finished colouring I decided to make the image a bit more fun and added some google eyes to her hat.Oh forgot to mention the sketch I used is from Kit & clowder 

The Flowers were made using the flowers from the Lil’ Miss Sugarpops collection I just resized and changed the colour and printed off, cut them out and using a ball tool shaped them then glues a couple together. For the centres  on the flowers I made most of them with a hot glue gun and a glitter glue stick just for an added bit of sparkle I think they look OK.

I added a doily to the backing papers and then it was on to the insert I used the same papers as on the front and added the image which I left uncoloured then added a little extra greeting just to tie it all together.
