Memory lane

Hello crafty friends how are you today hasn’t the weather been glorious the last few days, it’s a little cloudy here today but still warm so I do hope it lasts I love the sun and warm weather.
I have 2 cards left that haven’t posted on here that I made for the launch of Winnies Special Moments .
My first card is an 8x8” and Nikky kind of inspired this card as she was talking about how this collection reminded her of herself and boy who she used to hang out with when they were kid, well it brought back very similar memories for me. The lad I used hang with was my next door but one neighbour he was just a bit younger than me but we used go off playing most nights after school when we were little playing batman and robin(he always made me play robin lol) or he’d bring his action man figures round and I get my Sindy dolls out(yes I was Sindy girl not a Barbie) or we’d go off on our bikes. This friend was called Wayne I know he FB friend with at least one of my cousins but I haven’t seen or spoken to him in years now. I always remember he had curly hair and when he had it all cut off once I didn’t speak to him for weeks (how could cut those curls lol). But enough with the trips down memory lane lets get on with the card.

I have used paper from this collection but I also used papers from the winnie in Winterland collection as well (the red & green) I wanted the image to be the main focal point on the card.
The image is called Tire swing and I coloured with my polychrome pencils and I added one of quotes that came with the download to alongside it

I used some of the arrow embellishments which I embossed with red and blue embossing powder then added these to the card after the image was added

So there you have my first card for today and I will see you later with my final make for this collection
