Swish your tail

Hello again yes I ‘m back with another make using the ever so sweet ULA this time I have usedSwish your tail there are 9 images in this collection and you would be mad not to get all them as how could you choose which not to have you need them all!!!!!!

So I have 2 cards to show you today yes 2 I hope you like them.

For my first card I have  again used papers from the Octavia collection as they lend themselves so well to these images,  I have distressed the edges of them and inked with distress ink to give an aged look then added some stencil paste with bubble stencils for texture I added some blue DI re-ink to colour the stencil paste to give me a blueish look as the one I had was white. I added cheese cloth to the back of one of the papers as well.

I used Swish your tail for my image and have coloured her with Polychromo pencils then I used prisma pencils for the background and under her I wasn’t happy with the blue part it didn’t seem deep enough to look like she was under water so I added some salty ocean and mermaid lagoon DI and was happier with that. I added white gel pen to her hair and around the outside to look like bubbles then added glossy accent and sequins. 

I wanted to add some shells and things for embellishments but I couldn’t find them Grrrrrrr don’t you hate it when that happens!!!!! So I went into the starfish and Sandcastle collection and used images from the creature’s folder fish and shells just to show you can mix and match this new release with other collection you have already. (Then yes once the card was finished I did find my shells soooo annoying that they had fallen into another draw.)
