Colour Crazy ATG with crafty Ribbons

Howdy doody peeps I’m back today to showcase another card for our new challenge over at https://colourcrazychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/  this week we are sponsored Crafty Ribbons (all links at bottom of post)

Now here we have some very special birthday’s coming up this year my father in law turns 70 in June, my Auntie in Law is Turning 60 in July and my Nan in Law is turn a whopping 90 in June (how amazing is that) for regulars that follow my blog this is the lady that loves a verse in her cards as she says a verse makes the card bless her.Oh and I almost forgot it's our 20th wedding anniversary in July aswell!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the card I have for you today is one I have made for her 90^th not sure yet who it’s off whether it’s going to be off us or Amy we’ll have to see.

It’s  my usual 8x8” size and I have used papers from pixel scrapper which I have distressed the edges and inked with distress ink then I have used some distress spray stain in picket fence and starlight acrylic paint in mint and splattered over the papers and then added some frontage on some of them.

The image is by Mo Manning and is called Lula Doll she comes with an assortment of bits and bobs you can merge her with I added the dress bloomer and legwarmers. She has been coloured with my polychromo pencils. Then I added distress inks over a mask of the image to make the background. 

To embellish the card I added some lovely vintage lace and some sunflowers then made a big floppy bow with pale blue organza ribbon and hessian threads (yes I still have some left lol).

Finally it was the insert I used one of the papers from the front for my insert page then added the image to tie it all together. Then it was a hunt for a verse I hope the one I have chosen is OK and more importantly I haven’t used it before :D
