Hello Beautiful

Wowzers what a launch, there have been some amazing creations shown throughout this 4 day launch. I am so privileged to be on this amazing Design team.

So I am here now with my final make for this launch and I saved my favourite make till last.  

For my card I have made my usual 8x8” card, most of the elements I have used on the card are from the Download (Links below) except for the hessian threads, lace, doily and cheesecloth they are from my stash.

So I distressed and inked the papers then I got my splatter box out (ooohhhh I loves me splatter box) I then splattered each paper with diluted white acrylic paint and diluted Starlight acrylic paint in white gold, pink sunset and mint.

For the image I used Helga Blush and coloured with a mix of Luminance, Lyra and polychromo pencils then masked off and did the background with distress inks(used antique linen, pumice stone, frayed burlap, walnut stain, worn lipstick, tumbled glass, broken china and faded jeans)

I then distressed edges and matted onto card that I coloured with Distress inks.

To embellish the card I used a tag and circle stamp from the collect adding a sentiment to tag.  The circle stamp I cut out with a circle punch then aged both with distress inks before embossing with clear embossing powder giving both a few coats then popping in the freezer for a few minutes. 

I then took them out of freezer gave then a twist and pull to make the embossing crack then added more ink into the grooves I then added hessian threads to the top of the tag tying off with lace and made a shabby hessian bow for the circle greeting to sit on.

I added the doily which again I aged with distress inks and added cheesecloth behind the image.

To finish off my card I made the insert in my usual was taking one of the papers I used on the front and bringing the image through then added a short greeting
