Hello my crafty friends I hope you’re all well and this post
finds you fine and dandy. We have had a glorious week here although at the time
of writing this it has started to rain. I hope it clears by tomorrow as I
wanted to get my washing out and drying, oh well.
Anyway I have a card for you today that I made just over a
week ago. I had a lady on facebook send me a message asking if I could make a
card for her as she had same sex wedding coming up and was looking for an
appropriate card for the couple as they were into the phantom of the opera. I
said I have a look and see what I could come up with. To be honest in my head I
was screaming how am going to do this but then ideas started to pop into my
head.
The card is A5 in size and I have gone for a black and white
look with a pop of red for a striking effect
I mirrored the image and overlapped it to make it look sort
of entwined if you know what I mean. I used a sketch from Jules at http://jules-alwayswithaheart.blogspot.co.uk/ the papers
are from various places. All have been distressed and inked
I made the flowers from watercolour paper that I coloured
using distress inks and added 3 small gems to the greeting. I finished the card
with an insert to match
