You make life beachy.....

Well good afternoon my crafty peeps I hope you are all fine and dandy on this GORGEOUS day it is totally delicious outside today here let’s hope it lasts.

Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary we have been married 19 years this year and together 29 years. It’s funny how when you work it out we have been together longer than our than we have been apart if that makes sense(I know what I mean lol).

So for my card I have made an 8x8 “ card blank and then using paper, images and elements from Polkadoodles starfish and sandcastles I  set to making my card

I matted the paper with a white piece then brought the pre coloured images through and merged them together I then brought embellishments through the parasol and flip flops I had to layer the parasol so that the pole was behind Winnie but I needed the canopy over her so I copied the parasol the cropped it and layered I then added the sentiments and the flip flops which I again separated and layers to make them look like they had been kicked off. Then printed off as one layer I distressed the edges of the paper and inked with peacock feathers and that was it for the front. 

I made a card using these 2 images a couple of weeks ago and still have summer loving going through my head from grease lol

The insert was my usual style taking the paper from the front and matting with a white piece then adding the verse and I brought the flip flops through to tie it all together.
