Geeky Mr&Mrs Baggies style

Hello my dears I hope you are all fine and dandy. Phil and I had a great week in Spain the weather was amazing and the sights even more so oh I love it there. A week is just not long enough as it goes way, way to quickly, we did get a lot done though out and about every day with just a couple of afternoons sitting by the pool at our villa. That was enough for us if we had to stay by the pool all holiday we would be bored stiff within a day or so, so we always have days out and about. This was the first holiday that has just been Phil and me and it was wonderful to be on our own not that we don’t like the usual company but it made a change.

Of course as we were back in Spain I had to go and see the wolves again at Lobo park if you like wolves and ever in the area of Antequera it’s a great couple of hours looking at the wolves they aren’t tame they are completely wild left to their own devises  to a certain degree. Of course they are fed by the keepers but it’s by no means a zoo of any kind.

Anyway I have managed to get my mojo working again (just about) and got a card make that is a commission that I was asked to make Just before I went away.
It’s a wedding card and the couple are BAGGIES fans (boing boing) so blue and white was the theme.
The card is 8x8”  the papers are freebies but can’t remember where from sorry all I did was change the colour of them to suit to fit what was needed.
The sketch I used for my LO was one from Jules (always with a heart) I’m really liking working with her sketches at the moment.

I added some beautiful decorative lace beading to the backing behind the image which is from Make it crafty called Geeky love kiss which has been coloured with polychromo pencils. Then the greeting added to the back of this as it was stuck down.

I made the embellishment from glass teardrop pearls coloured with alcohol markers then smaller pearls adding them to pins then gluing into place onto a circle of card then I added larger pearls on top of these with a larger one for the centre then adding a lace rosette behind which was made simply by taking a length of lace doing a running stitch down one side and gathering it together then sewing to hold in place. I then added a few pearl pins behind just to finish it off.

For the insert it was usual look of taking some of the paper used on the front then matting with white and bringing the image through to tie it all together this time I added the image to the bottom outer corners and then added a verse to complete the insert.

So there you have it I hope you like it and I will see you all very soon I hope with another make.
