21 today!!!

Hello my crafty lovelies OMG it’s been soooooo long since my last post I bet you have forgotten all about me! Well fear not I’m BACK!!!!! My mojo decided to go a very long holibob without permission very rude!!!!! And has returned just in time for me to go on mine hahaha serves her right see how she likes it!!!!!!! I have so many cards to make so it’s a good job mojo has come back all be it with her tail between her legs fancy leaving me high and dry, I have Birthday cards to do for my Dad(in law) then father’s day cards OK only 2 but still and Birthday cards for our Nan so yes I was panicking a little.

Yes you did read right next week, well weds this week we (myself and hubster) are flying off to sunny Spain for a week he is taking me away for my birthday how cool is that first he buys me my pencils then he whisks me off to the sun yayyyyyy(happy spoiled bunny (0: )
So as you have probably guessed I do have a card to show you but it’s not any of the above mentioned. My Mom( in law) asked me if I would make a 21st birthday card for a friends Granddaughter who’s birthday is on the same day as my Dad (in law) so I had printed the image off a few days ago and have been doing a bit of colouring when I have been  able (things have been a little busy here as well as the lack of creativity) and I made the flowers yesterday then today I finally got to put it together.

It’s  another 8x8” card now the papers were a freebie from someone on FB but on saving it just saved the images and not said who they were from and it was few days later I got them from my download file and I couldn’t remember for the life of me who made them so hand on heart thank you and sorry I couldn’t shout you out. I have distressed the edges and inked with picked raspberry and hickory smoke DI  then splattered with watered down paint and frantaged.

The image is from Mo Manning called teen fairy Pia and I have coloured her with my polychrome and Pablo pencils , then glitter added to the wings. I then did the background in my usual way using a mask of the image and inking with blues and brown DI’s.
I then  frantaged the edges of the image and added cheese cloth to the back I did the same with the sentiment.

The flowers were made with watercolour paper coloured with picked raspberry and hickory smoke DI then I used some really chunky glitter to add a dewy look then once dried added some splats of paint to tie it all together. I added coloured berries and stamens then finished the card front with a pretty handmade bow again flicked with wet paint (yayyyy I got messy hahaha a bugger to clear up though! )0:)

To finish the card I made the insert using the same papers and bringing the image through then adding a verse and again just because I have missed getting messy I splattered paint over the insert (very lightly though) just to tie it all together.

So there you have it I hope you like and it was worth the wait I promise once I get back form sunny Spain it will business as usual so I will see you when I get back
