Hope your Christmas goes with a blast

Hello peeps hope you’re all fine and looking forward to the weekend!!

Have you done all your Christmas shopping yet no me neither still have a few things to get and even more cards to make. Have you noticed (those of you that make cards)that if you give someone a shop brought(yes there I said it) one they look at you and say oh you didn’t make it then??!!!! Well I may just be getting some of those looks again this year, I really don’t know if I will have time to make all my cards. Yes I know I have had 12 months to get them done but like I keep saying I can’t get my mojo into the Christmas groove until around now.
Saying that as you will have guessed I do have a card to show you which is why I am posting.

So onto my card,
This card is made for my very dear friend Sandra she will hate me for naming her but I don't care, I have known this lady(and she is a true lady)for about 7/8 years now. We became blog buddies and then progressed from there we speak through internet more or less daily even if it's just checking all is well and we phone each other too. I have had the privilege to visit her a couple of times. She was there for me all through my depression she really is a true true friend and I love her to bits.

The card my usual 8 x 8” and I have again gone the clean & simple look. Sorry if the pics look at little yellowish I had to take the photos with the light on as it has been so dark here lately and it does do the pics any favours(oh well)

The paper is from crafty scraps it’s a freebie that I have had for ages and I inked the edges (after distressing) with aged mahogany DI

I printed the sentiment onto the card with the image which is from Make it crafty I love these naughty little elves then once printed I edged again with aged mahogany and then coloured the image in with Polychromo pencils

I added die cut snowflakes from memory box which I cut from pearlised card and then inked again with aged mahogany then added white frontage

To finish the card I made the insert using the same paper from the front the I took the image a separated the naughty duo and added them to opposite corners of the side, then added a Christmas verse to the other.

And that is another I can mark off my list yayyyyyyyyy
Hope you like it and I will see you hopefully very soon
I will leave you with a list of challenges and another look at the terrible twosome
