Kisses

Good morning crafty friends I hope you are looking forward to the weekend I know I am, I have lots of ideas I want to try and things to do. The father’s day card has been delivered and received with humour it was made with I only got called a git and a cheeky mare which I was a bit more the only thing negative he commented on was and I quote “I don’t wear yellow socks” (so guess what he’s having for Christmas hahaha ssssshhhhhh don’t you dare tell him!!!!! Hehehe)

Well the card I have for you today is the last in the batch for my Nan in Law,  this one is for Amy to send her she is her Great Granddaughter and Amy loves her sooo much.
When she was little and I mean little her Nan used to look after her in the school holidays and such but before then she would spend most of her Saturdays with her when she was only a year or so old she taught her how to pat-a-cake (you pat a cake, pat a cake baker’s man bake me a cake….) so from then on even to this day Amy calls her Nan patcake that is her pet name for her.

So on to my card I have made a 6½x 7½” card blank and the papers are from pixel scrapper all freebies and have been inked with distressed inks

The gorgeous image is by Mo Manning called kisses and this has been coloured with polychrome pencils. Then I inked the background using blue and brown distress inks

I kept the embellishments to a minimum just making a fussy bow in pink organza ribbon from my stash and then using blue flat backed gems also from stash

Then on to the insert again using the papers I had on the front I just cut a digital scalloped mat out in MCS and added the verse (Regulars will know that this lady who the card is for loves a good verse in her cards she says a card is only as good as the verse inside now I know he means shop brought cards but I still like to put her a good one in even in the ones she receives)  and image which I kept uncoloured

And there you have it hope you like it and I will see you soon

Hello Jacki. Oh my goodness, this is so sweet and absolutely adorable. Love the image and your colouring is just perfect.
Love the mixtures of paper designs and the blues and pinks together. The fabulous bow sets it all off just brilliantly.
Good luck with the challenges.
Happy crafting.
