Birthday Princess (part 1)

Hello crafty friends how are we all? Good I hope and big hugs to those that are not. Well it’s been a busy week here this week and a weird one for me but that is more to do with my emotions than anything so enough said about that lol :0D

So obviously if I’m blogging then I have a card to show right? Right! It’s been a marathon card making run as I have had to get all of Amy’s cards done this week so had a full day yesterday and got 3 made yayyyyyyyy the only one left to do is the one from me and her Dad and I am sop looking forward to putting that one together hehehe. Put it this way she is either going to love it or hate it that is all I will say at the moment other than the image is Amy to a T!!!!!!

I did my cards a little different this time and coloured the images first before thinking about the design of the card usually it’s the other way around so I am adding a pic of the image before it is made into a card.

Anyway for my card today yes it’s one of Amy’s Birthday cards this is one I have made from her Nan (my MiL)

The card is an 8x8” which I made using 2 pieces of A4 card. The papers are of course freebies and have been distressed and inked with picked raspberry and spun sugar DI, then matted onto white card which was also distressed.

The image is of course a Mo Manning which can be found here and so is the top sentiment which is also spot on for Amy at the moment (yes she is getting worse as she gets older lol can’t believe she is 23 this year OML :o0 where have the years gone)

The image has been coloured with a mix of prisma and ploychromo pencils and glitter, then I used a stencil brush and DI’s to do the background using a mask for the image.

Then it was cut out using a spellbinders label die.

The sentiment from Mo was cut out using Xcut and spellbinder dies which I added more glitter to.
To finish the card front I added some small gems to her crown(every princess should have them) a large double fussy bow with gem and a couple of flowers in the bottom corner.

Then it was onto the inside I made the insert using the same papers from the front also bringing the image through which I also coloured with Poly’s and added a short verse and there you have it all done. One down 3 to go

Right I will leave you with another look at the gorgeous image and a list of challenges I would like to enter it into.

Thank you so much for popping over and all your lovely comments and I will see you very soon
