Amy's Birthday part 3

Hello Everyone I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I got sooooo much done this weekend but not in a crafty way unfortunately it was dreaded house work (oh well it has to be done I guess.

It is lovely and sunny outside here today but blimey it’s still cold my hands are like blocks of ice and I have a fleece jacket on (Honest might even have to get my thermals out again hahaha)

Still not to worry summer will soon be here ( please) and yes I have a card for you this the 3^rd in the birthday card series of the ones I have had to do for my daughter Amy. Her birthday is this Saturday and I still have to make the one from her Dad and myself eeeekkkkkkk  better  get me finger out (but I do only have to put it together. 

So onto today’s card this one is being sent from my mother it’s an A5 card and the papers are again freebies which have been inked and distressed then the piece behind the image I embossed and sanded the paper back to reveal the white under the colour then I went over some of it again with DI. The papers have been matted onto white card which has also been distressed

The gorgeous image is yes another of Mo Manning’s and you can get it here. I have coloured it in with polychromo pencils and then added glitter (well she is a fairy so would have been rude not to wouldn’t it?)

I kept the embellishing pretty simple just made a single fussy bow and then added some lilac gems to the top of image and bottom of card and that was it.

To finish off the card I made an insert to match the outside using some of the papers I used and also bringing the image through but leaving it uncoloured and then adding a short verse to complete it.
