shades of grey (not 50)

Hi everyone hope you are all well and keeping warm I have to say even though I can't believe we're nearly at the end of February I can't wait until the warm weather arrives I hate this time of year to cold. Thanks to everyone who left such lovely comments on my last card I guess we forget sometimes to just have a laugh and not take things to seriously.

I have a new card for you today and I am really pleased with how the colouring on this image came out I have been looking for hints and tips on learning to colour using shading and such and have found loads of advise and tips and decided to put some to the test on this and boy it worked :-D

So here is my card I decided to make a smaller card than I have been making of late. it's 6.5 x 7.5 I haven't made one this size for a while but thought the image would sit better on this size card.
The papers are freebies from pixel scrapper and have of course been distressed and inked with DI iced spruce

Image is from smallandround and I have coloured her in with prisma pencils mainly using white to blend but also used thinners and as I said I'm really pleased with how she turned out

I made the bow from seam binding that I dyed using reinker in iced spruce then made the centre piece using glass and pearl beads and left it at that really just need to pop a sentiment on but will keep it until I know what it's being used for

I will leave you with another look at the image and a list of challenges I would like to enter it into

Thanks for popping over and I will see you very soon
