Hi everyone I hope you are all well and keeping warm, We have been really lucky here so far where the white stuff is concerned not had that much (lets hope it stays that way)
So as we are heading out of January already (gasp shock horror) we are a month in already OMG
I thought I better get in the mood for LOVE!!!!!! hahahahah well how could I not after see this gorgeous image over at mosdigitalpencil I don't know how but I keep getting images from her jumping in my basket no idea who puts them there??????
anyway here is my card
it'as an A5 card I wanted to keep the card pretty simple as I had been colouring all afternoon and evening and really wanted get one of the images made into a card
the papers are from Nitwits mainly freebies from magazine CD's the small grey and pink panels have been embossed then sanded back and inked as well as all the papers having the usual distressing and inking in picked raspberry and iced spruce.
The ubber cute image has been coloured with distress inks, reinkers and markers I'm still getting the hang of colouring with these but boy is it fun practising. I used tumbles glass and broken china for the background then spun sugar and worn lipstick for skirt iced spruce and weathered wood for elliefump and for the heart I used worn lipstick festive berries and I think barn door with a touch of picket fence for hilite
I kept the text really simple too (I get simple hehehe) and glittered the heart as i was having withdrawals as I have hardly had my glitters out since Christmas then I made a huge fussy bow using some mesh ribbon which I took the wire out of and the some grey organza and pink satin ribbon adding a big pink heart gem finishing off with some pink pearls just because I felt like it and so there you have it I hope you like it oh forgot to say I used this weeks sketch from http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.co.uk/
so I will leave you with another look at this super cute image and a list of challenges I would like to enter
See you soon and thanks for stopping by
