Hello everyone I do hope you are well and keeping warm. Are you ready for the festivities yet no neither am I. But at least I tyhink my Christmas mojo has returned just in the nick of time phew!!!!
I think I owe a big thanks to Mo Manning to though as it seems to have come back since treating myself to a few of her images (sssshhhhhhhh don't tell Phil it's a secret hehehe)
He says I have enough crafty stuff to last me 3 life times he obviously doesn't know anything about crafting does he lol
So onto my card :-)
I was asked by Mom in Law to make her a Christmas card for her Mom & Dad she wanted a special one so EEeeeeeeeeekkkkk then like I said a visit to Mo's worked wonders I hope
It's another large 8x8 card
As usual all papers are freebies they are called ginger lane by Miggs they have been distressed (it killed me not to distress the last ones so I had to have my fix lol) then inked with DI peacock feathers and matted onto white card which has also been distressed.
The dies are from memory box and xcuts and they have been either embossed with frantage (yes I'm still playing with it hehe and going slightly OTT) or glittered well it's Christmas and you know I love me sparkle.
I added a flat backed to one of the large snow flake dies the other is hidden behind the image slightly.
So for the image I have wanted to get this image for an age but never got round to it so when I had my little splurge I thought what the hell live a little so I got it and soooooooooo glad as it was a treasure to colour as most of Mo's images are it's called winter fairy Halla and I have coloured her(or him) in my trusty pro/ flexi markers, Crea markers and prisma pencils (I would recommend these to anyone who is thinking of investing a set of pencils and you can use your promarker blenders to blend the colour you lay down genius!!!!)
colours used are
I added frantage to the sentiment and image which has also been distressed and inked with peacock feathers. I added holographic glitter to his wish breathe(what else do I call it??)
I added crystal stickles to the paper that goes across the card with lace on it (from stash) and then added a fussy organza bow in an icy blue and a FB pearl in centre.
Then to finish and tie it all together I made the insert
using another paper from the set I created a panel in the middle so I couls add the image (uncolured) and a verse and there you have it.
So I will love and leave you I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I shall see you soon I hope
Thank you for all your lovely comments, I do try to visit most blogs even if I don't have chance to leave a comment at the time
anyhooo I will leave you with another pic of the gorgeous image and a list of challenges I would like to enter this into
