Love you snow much

I'm sorry for the cheesy title but I just had brain freeze and couldn't think of anything else.
Well I hope you are all keeping warm and cosy it is soooooooo cold here see I told you we would have a bad winter this year as we had such a mild one last year I could feel it in me bones :o))))0
Anyway I have a card for you today I can put it on here because I know the person who it's for doesn't come on here and they will get it tomorrow so it really doesn't matter to much

I have kept it pretty similar to the last one I did just changing the colour and a few bits and bobs (I hope she likes purple :o/

Now I wanted to make this card for someone who has helped me probably a lot more than they realise over the last 18 months and I'm not exagerating when I say that if it wasn't for her I either wouldn't be here to write this or if I was here I wouldn't be in a good place if you get my meaning.

The card is 8x8 (you know I like 'em big) and papers are freebies which have been distressed and inked with DI seedless preserve and milled lavender then matted onto white card (also distressed).
The image of course is one of Mo Mannings adorable Christmas Fairies
She has been coloured with a mix of pro/ flexi markers and crea markers (sorry forgot to note colours used)
To get the wings looking like this I used mainly a blender with just a dab of manderine watermelon orchid and glacier blue then used snowtex on the icy bits and snow ball with a sprinkle of glitter.
I  added liquid pearls and sequins around the image and also distressed the edges and inked to match then placed it on some cheese cloth before putting on the card

The die cuts are from memory box and xcuts and have been frantaged and glittered to death and so has the sentiment (well it is Christmas!!!)

I added gems to snowflake centres and then a huge fussy bow with a snowflake to finish it off.

Then to finish it all off I made a matching insert using an uncoloured version of the image to tie it together.
So there you have it another Christmas card Just hope there are enough days left to make the rest of what I need (I think not some how)

Anyway thanks for popping over and leaving lovely comments they are all appreciated and I will leave you will list of challenges I would like to enter and another look at the gorgeous image.
See you soon.
