Have a beary merry Christmas

Good afternoon I hope you are all well and ready for the festivities. We here are far from it, I  still have presents to buy, cards to make and don't have a single Christmas decoration up nor tree as we have no room. Phil has had some massive deliveries lately with new stock and it's everywhere so it looks like we will have to go with out this year but it will a one off never again. I have never had so little christmas spirit as I have right now  barrrr humbug!!!!!!

But the few cards I have had chance to make I have thoroughly enjoyed making and this one topped the lot I can now safely post it on here as I know the person it was for has received it.

The was made for a very special friend so had to be really special itself I designed the card a while back but with a different image then last week on FB Mo Manning posted about a new image she had put in her shop and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to get and use it for this card so off I went to get it.

The card is an 8x8" card and papers are freebies printed onto grained matt paper

I tweeked the design a little and didn't really use a sketch for the LO just went with the flow (very designer haha) Anyway the papers were distressed and inked with stormy sky and faded jeans DI then matted onto white card which was also distressed then added chunky glitter around all the edges of the papers, the die cuts are from memory box and have embossed with frantage glittered

I used the same die to add the over hang at the top of the card that I used on the corner but for this where the frantage had mssed I inked with faded jeans then buffed off and it gave a lovely icy effect next to the shabby white frantage(you can't see it very on here)
I added seam binding across the card hiding more icicles behind layers of papers as I went.
I created the sentiment on my computer and distressed and inked to coordinate with card then added more frantage to this and some confetti snowflakes to which I added gems

The image is called Beary merry Christmas by Mo Manning and can be found Here I coloured him in with crea and pro/ flexi markers
 Colours used are

Crea markers
25, 97  warm grey 1-4
Pro markers
Light fawn,  antique white, Linen (skin)
Cloud blue cobalt blue midnight blue
Firewood (hair)

I cut the image out using spellbinder label die the distressed and inked with faded jeans then of course added frantage. Glittered his hat and added cheese clothe behind the image.you can see the glitter on the papers better in this set of pics

to finish off the outside I made a larde fussy satin bow and added a die cut snow flake with a gem centre.

Finally to bring it all together Imade the insert

using papers from the same set I made a opaque centre on the left side I brought in the image and on the right wrote a verse I also used stickles on the icicles around the egdes I then coloured the image using priosma pencils and glittered his hat
and so there it is my card for a very very dear friend
I hope you like it and I will leave you with a list of challenges and another look at the gorgeous image.
Thanks for popping over see you all very soon
