Done and dusted for another year

Well I said yesterday I had to get hubby's card done and then I was finished and guess what it's done yayyyyyyyyy and phewwwwww!!!!

Before I show you first of hello and I do hope you are all well and ready I bet there are some of you still running around last minute getting things together I'm usually one of them :-)
Anyway here is my card

I was going to try my hand at a white on white card but then chickened out.
I saw a card doing a blog hop over at Mo Mannings and fell in love with it stunning is an understatement (they are all so very talented) but this card for some reason hit the spot so I decided to re-create it my way you can see the original Here Velina I hope I haven't offended you by taking inspiration from your card.
The card is 8x8" and to make it I used a piece of digital kraft paper from pixel scrapper added the frame (which was originally black) copied and pasted it then flipped it to make a double frame.
Using winter fairy Halla I got rid of the background and the flourishand added her to the paper then added a new flourish and also added some digital snowflakes anf then printed off. made the sentiments in the sameway then cut them all out and distressed the edges (well it has to be done lol)
The image was coloured with promarkers Crea markers and prisma pencils
I used PM's
soft peach, blush and sandstone for skin

Terracotta caramel cinnamon tan raw sienna (hair)

to make the wings I used gold mango sky blue watermelon orchid

Crea markers for clothes used warm grey 1-6

I then added snowtex and glitter to wings then decided to added glossy accents too well it's Christmas I also added glitter to the flourish

I added liquid pearls to the paper to look a bit snowy then added some chunky white frantage and sukura stardust pen to snow flakes

I added stickles star dust around the edges of sentiments and on the large button

to which I added metallic thread
To finish off the card and tie it all together I made a matching insert again using the image but this time keeping it uncoloured

It's a very long verse so a good job I made a large card lol
and so there you have it for me a very different style of card very clean and simple but I really enjoyed doing it again thank you Velina for the inspiration if you haven't seen her work please do check her blog and I will leave you with a list of challenges and another look at the gorgeous image
