Daughter Christmas card

Hello every one I hope you are all well and all prepared for the upcoming festivities. As you can see I'm way behind and still making cards hence this post :-) oh well. This card is for my Daughter she sounded so disappointed when I said I would probably have to buy her one so I thought I ought to try and make one (hard to believe she's 22 not 12)

So here it is Another 8x8" I think this is my fabvourite size card you get so much on them and you know I like putting stuff on my cards hehehe

papers are from Bearly mine I can't believe they are having to close after all this time because these stupid tax laws such a shame
anyway they have been distressed (of course) and inkedwith victorian velvert and brush corderoy DI then I gave them all a coating of sparkle medium before matting onto white distress card for a real sparkle.

I used memory box snowflake die again LOVE this die  and I also used a christmas tree die that was free with a magazine

Of course I used frantage on the dies and image then I added some cord in pink and gold with a christmas pine cone and bells
I added gems to the tree and sentiment and also added one to the snowflake centre.

The image is of course a Mo Manning image called winter fairy Pyri and has been coloured on the out side wuith Pro markers and crea marker I added seed beads for the berries snowtex to the wings and glossy accents to the string of beads. The image was cut out with spellbinders label die 27 I think but not sure
 colours used are

Crea markers
26, 29, 27, 104
Pro markers
Forest green, pine
Linen,  khaki champagne,
Carmine, watermelon
Metalics red gold, gold

To finish the card off I made the insert using papers from the same set and masking out the middle I put a short greeting inside and also brought the image in to the opening page I thought about leaving it uncoloured but then decided to colour using prisma pencils and stickles

this is a close up of the inner image coloured
and so there you have it I hope you like it. I have as far as I know one more card to make for hubby (but I do have a shop brought one just in case gasp shock horror)

Thanks for popping over and I will leave you with a list of challenges I would like to enter it into

Hi Jacki. Oh WOW, what a beauty. Beautiful delicate shades, love that image, wonderfully constructed, and you are right, you always put so much on and in wonderful detail, yet they always look and feel amazing. So wonderfully crafted. I speak from experience of course.
I will try and email later my dear friend.
Lots of love, Sandra xxx
PS. Have you tackled the White on White yet??????
