lazy dayzzzzzzzz

Giid morning or rather Bbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrr as it is blooming brass monky's here
Now I have to do a shout out and say a big thank you to Pauline who unwittingly gave my mojo the kick uo the butt it needed to get these birthday cards done so Thank you Pauline (you will see why in a mo)

so it's my hubby's Grandads birthday next week yes see falling way behind and I had no idea what to make for him I had an idea but didn't have any image to fit then while doing a little blog hopping I came across one of paulines post (who I have followed for a while) and saw the perfect card swo where did she get the image from then I saw and rushed over to buy it and also brought a few more as you do :oD

anyway here is my finished card

Now I have kept the LO pretty simple using the paper that came with the image but then I decided I wanted a second layer a little darker with smaller dots and although I could have played around with the same paper I knew I had one that was just right and I did so I distressed them and inked with weathered wood and peacock feathers then matted onto white distressed card.
I added cord and a large white button which I added embroidery thread to and a digital sentiment stamp and there you have it

the image and paper set (it aslo comes with insert) is from and I also brought a couple of other images while I was there too (well you have to don't you)

you get 2 images one with a sentiment and 1 without so I used the one with the sentiment and just added Dad as it is from my MiL

the card is 8x8" so I adjusted the insert to fit then added a verse
so there you have it one of 3 cards I have had to make for Hubby's Grandad and so a massive thank you again to Pauline for the inspiration

I am entering this into the following challenges ATG button up ATG Birthday Polka dots Birthday
