Good evening all I thought I would take this opportunity to share this canvas I made it was the other part of the card I made in my last post (this was the present)
I made it for my very dear friend I mentioned I wanted to make one with butterflies and she said she would love to buy one from me as she loves butterflies but of course I would never dream of that so as her birthday was due I thought perfect prezzie. I made her one last Christmas with flowers (all hand made) and had done it in her favourite colours pinks and purples so I needed to be creative and hope I could get the shades of my paint right as I wanted this one to be the same but the other way round anyway here it is
The canvas is about A56 in size may be a little larger I used gesso as a base then went over with different shades of acrylic paint then once dry flecked the shades through then I punches all the butterflies and embossed them with clear powder then using a glue gun stck them all down in a
heart shape then I took a larger butterfly embossed that added pearls to the body and stuck down
I then added pearls to the lower edges of the canvas and bingo
Sorry this one is a little blurry I think I had to much vino hehehe
I can tell you she loved it (or at least that's what she told me :OD)
I would like to enter this into the following challenges
