Glitter glitter everywhere

Good evening I hope you are well and enjoying the world cup me myself  I haven't really had time to watch it as so much to do and just over a week to get it done.

Anyway while we are away it's Phil's Nan's birthday so I have had to get the cards ready so she can have them before we go. So yesterday was madness as it was all left til last minute again as my mojo lately has been as transparent as a nudists knickers Luckily I managed to design 3 (which was the amount needed) and so yesterday it was putting them together for today oh boy.
Well the one I am showing today is the reason for the title I decided to use glitter now that is never a good idea where I'm concerned it gets everywhere and being really hot and humid here it stuck too my chest look like I was going to a 70's disco my hair was just as bad, the cats got covered and Charley was upstairs :oO even Amy came in had a bath then ended up with it on her, but I did get some on the card

So here it is the papers of course are freebies and have been inked with picked raspberry DI  the card is 8.5 x 8.5 so a HUGE one

This is the sketch  used for LO

The image of course is Fizzy Moon which has been cut out and I did 1 layer of decoupage to give a bit of depth the large flower he's holding was glittered and for the centre I used nail caviar (micro beads from £ shop)
then I glittered the rest of flowers and also gave the butterflies and 3d look by layering them too.

Now the flowers well if they look familiar they should they are birthday candle holders (what hold the candles in a cake) I added a pearl to the bit where the candle should go then cut the spikey bit off(that goes in cake) then glued onto card I think they look good. The other flowers nest to image are buttons.

I added polka dot ribbon from stash and to finish off I made a matching insert

and there you go one of 3 birthday cards hope you like and I will see you soon
